Con este anuncio reclutaba uno de los más prestigiosos estudios de arquitectura a sus becarios. Lo llamativo es que el reclamo atraía a miles de licenciados de todo el mundo. Jóvenes preparadísimos dispuestos a empuñar el tiralíneas de sol a sol, costearse la estancia con un préstamo o con el dinero de sus padres, con tal de poder exhibir en el currículum la experiencia de unos meses en el estudio londinense del español Alejandro Zaera Polo.
Precisamente hace un rato hablaba con mi amigo Juan Antonio sobre unos trabajos que había hecho y cuyos honorarios eran una miseria y tras comentárselo lo primero que me dijo fue:
“es que no tengo título ni nada”
Es lo que pasa en España, que la titulitis está muy extendida; bajo mi punto de vista hoy día los títulos solo son necesarios para cierto tipos de trabajos muy específicos y peligrosos (controlador aéreo por ejemplo) o si quieres optar a uno en la administración pública, para lo demás lo que vale es el día a día, un currículum con títulos puede abrirte las puertas a un trabajo pero si no demuestras lo que vales estás perdido (mejor dicho despedido) y lo que es peor, teniendo en tu currículum un trabajo que te ha durado menos que un poloflan en Egipto.
